The Arthur restaurant, a large and warm terrace overlooking the beautiful bay of Befefika, is designed to accommodate 60 guests with Asian and European-influenced furnishings and decoration creating an elegant and relaxing atmosphere.
From the restaurant room with an open kitchen view, you can watch the gourmet preparations of the dishes concocted by the Chef and his team. Gastronomic and typical cuisine of Nosy be and Madagascar, no taste buds will resist the Chef’s talent.
In the vegetable garden completed with a herbarium, he selects the season’s vegetables that have reached maturity and chooses the fresh herbs that he will enhance his creations. Pineapples, jacques and évi, these few fruits plentiful in Nosy Be and picked in the domain will embellish the tempting desserts with their flavors.
The early risers will be entitled from 6.30am to a copious continental breakfast with a selection of tropical fruit juices. The Chef and his team will do everything to satisfy your desires, fill up with vitamins and start the day in great shape!
Each evening, you will compose your breakfast for the next day guided by Manga Soa Lodge’s team according to the seasonal products. A ritual specific to the hotel and of which you will appreciate the gastronomic discoveries by putting you virtually in the ovens. In order to make the local population benefit from the development of the Manga Soa Lodge, the fresh products come from the neighboring villages. A strict and regular quality control of these products is carried out to ensure their compliance with culinary requirements.
If you go on an excursion, the Chef will compose a basket filled with food that you will have chosen yourself. What wouldn’t he do to delight the gourmet in you even if it is miles away from the domain!
Banquets: the spacious terrace of the Arthur restaurant is ideal for celebrating family events and weddings in complete privacy. The Chef, a specialist in high-end catering events, will deploy all his talents so that your party will be remembered by your guests.
The space reserved for the bar and cocktails are adjacent to the reception. Ideally located between the reception and the restaurant, the Achille bar is a privileged place to meet and relax. Comfortably seated on the English bar chairs, you will relax in front of the century-old fruit trees and the enchanting botanical garden. The decoration is reminiscent in small touches of the 1930s and the elegant swing of the time.
