Andavadoaka or “The hole in the rock” is a fishing village located on the end of the Southwest coast of Madagascar, with an enchanting landscape combining white sand, baobab forest and green lagoon sea as far as the eye can see.
After a plane trip and a 4×4 ride on the runway along the coast, then you are facing the powerful rock with its vast hole that stands majestically in the middle of the bay, you enter the flamboyant hall of “Olô Bé Lodge”.
Olô Bé Lodge is a remarkable creation with a very decorative style – authentic African, a touch of Gaudi and the Lord of the Rings, and whimsical details that surprise and delight.

In symbiosis with the magnitude of the place and its sense of theater, the kitchen of Olô Bé Lodge is open to the main hall and thus offers the spectacle of the inventive Chefs’ performance working at the stoves and ovens with bright lights that illuminate. A whole activity sometimes accompanied by shouted orders and bursts of laughter.
In the background, a light and quiet music that softens the atmosphere and the guests’ rising voices who are gathered at the bar. As the beers and cocktails take effect, the stories, voices and connections become louder.
The menus of the day are imaginative and the meals are worthy of a good restaurant. Surprising, given the isolation of the place. Fresh seafood is purchased every morning from local fishermen in the bay.
